Delhi University will now accept GATE scores for admission to its M.Tech program in Microwave and Communication Engineering. This is the first time DU is using GATE scores for a postgraduate course, following AICTE approval. GATE score holders will get first priority, and remaining seats will be filled through CUET-PG scores. The program has 30 seats with category-wise reservation.
CBSE's new three-language policy for Class 9 has been challenged in the Supreme Court through a PIL. Senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi argued that making extra languages compulsory from July 2026 could create chaos for students nearing board exams. The Supreme Court has agreed to hear the case next week. The policy requires three languages with at least two being Indian languages.
