Accrording to the students, who took the exam today, the paper was easy to moderate. The section B of the paper was very easy while the MCQ part of the paper was slightly tricky.
CBSE Class 12 Chemistry analysis: 'Direct MCQs'
The chemistry paper was a balanced one with moderate difficulty level. The MCQs were quite direct. The level of questions were similar to the previous years and the pattern was in accordance with the CBSE sample paper. Most questions were based on NCERT and students who have revised the NCERT pattern thoroughly would solve the paper well.
CBSE Class 12 Chemistry paper 'Quite Average"
As per the observation of the candidates, the question paper was quite average for almost all the students. Question are straightforward. MCQ's in the sets were different but the theoretical questions were mostly same. The passage based questions were easy to guess. Students managed their time better as the paper was not lengthy. Overall it was a good paper with balanced elements from all the sections.
Type Of Questions Asked In Today’s CBSE Chemistry Exam
The CBSE class 12 chemistry exam was divided into 5 sections with a maximum of 70 marks. The candidates were required to complete the exam within 3 hours. Candidates were also given 15 minutes to read the question paper.
- Section A - 18 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each.
- Section B - 7 very short answer questions carrying 2 marks each.
- Section C - 5 short answer questions carrying 3 marks each.
- Section D - 2 case-based questions carrying 4 marks each.
- Section E - 3 long answer questions carrying 5 marks each.
CBSE Class 12th Chemistry Exam: Teacher's Reaction
The Chemistry paper was moderately difficult and was balanced and NCERT-based. Almost all the sections were easy and as per the syllabus.
