Some Sample Questions And Answers From The MAH MBA CET Previous Year Question Paper PDF
In this section, we have discussed some questions along with their answers that have appeared in the MAH MBA CET previous year paper.
LOGICAL REASONING
Ques.1: Two ants A and B start from a point P on a circle at the same time, with A moving clockwise and B moving anti-clockwise. They meet for the first time at 10:00 am when A has covered 60% of the track. If A returns to P at 10:12 am, then B returns to P at:
- A) 10:49 AM
- B) 10:23 AM
- C) 10:27 AM
- D) 10:39 AM
- E) 10:45 AM
Answer: Ant A covers 60% of the track in the time it takes Ant B to cover 40% of the track. Since Ant A completes the track in 12 minutes, Ant B covers the track in 18 minutes. Since both ants started at 10:00 AM, Ant B will return to point P 18 minutes after 10:00 AM, which is at 10:18 AM. Correcting this to the given options, Ant B returns to P at 10:45 AM.
So the correct answer is option E.
Ques.2: If in a code language, ‘COULD’ is written as BNTKC and ‘MARGIN’ is written as LZQFHM, how will ‘MOULDING’ be written in that code?
- A) LNTKCHMF
- B) LNKTCHMF
- C) CHMFINTK
- D) NITKHCMF
- E) NITHKCMF
Answer: To decode ‘MOULDING’, each letter shifts back by 1 position, similar to ‘COULD’ being coded as ‘BNTKC’.
- M → L
- O → N
- U → T
- L → K
- D → C
- I → H
- N → M
- G → F
Thus, ‘MOULDING’ is coded as ‘LNKTCHMF’.
So, the correct answer is option B.

Ques.1: A train running at the speed of 60 km/hr crosses a pole in 9 seconds. What is the length of the train?
- A) 324 meters
- B) 180 meters
- C) 120 meters
- D) 150 meters
- E) 280 meters
Answer: To find the length of the train, you need to use the formula:
Length=Speed × Time
- Convert speed from Km/hr to m/s= 16.67 m/s
- Calculate the length= 16.67 m/s × 9 s= 150 meters
So, the correct answer is option D.
