The U.S. has joined with the U.K. and Australia to announce a new trilateral (त्रिपक्षीय, त्रिकोणीय) security partnership, the AUKUS, that aims to ensure that there will be enduring (स्थायी, लंबे समय तक चलने वाला, जारी रखने वाला) freedom and openness (खुलापन, प्रतिबंध की कमी) in the Indo-Pacific region, particularly to “address (पता, निपटना, उपस्थित होना) both the current strategic environment (वातावरण, माहौल, स्थिति) in the region and how it may evolve (विकसित करना, प्रगति करना, आगे बढ़ना)”, according to President Joe Biden.
