    $$\Rightarrow$$  $$(6-a)^2+(6-b)^2=9+4$$
    $$\Rightarrow$$  $$(6-a)^2+(6-b)^2=(3)^2+(2)^2$$
    $$\Rightarrow$$  $$(6-a)^2=(3)^2$$ and $$(6-b)^2=(2)^2$$
    $$\Rightarrow$$  $$6-a=3$$     and   $$6-b=2$$
    $$\therefore$$  $$a=3$$ and $$b=4$$
    $$\Rightarrow$$  $$ab=(3)(4)=12$$
