The type of asexual reproduction in Amoeba is Binary Fission. In binary fission, the fully grown parent cell splits into two halves, producing two new cells.

Sexual reproduction involves the fusion of gametes. During sexual reproduction, a male and female gamete will merge together to form a new organism. The two haploid cells will fuse together to form a diploid cell called a zygote.
