Sriram, the report says that the Indian fertilizer industry is third largest in the world in terms of production and second largest in terms of consumption. The government of India has been consistently pursuing policies conducive to increased availability and consumption of chemical fertilizers and thereby maximizing agricultural production in the country.

The Indian textiles industry, currently estimated at around US$ 150 billion, is expected to reach US$ 250 billion by 2019. India's textiles industry contributed seven per cent of the industry output (in value terms) of India in 2017-18.It contributed two per cent to the GDP of India and employs more than 45 million people in 2017-18.The sector contributed 15 per cent to the export earnings of India in 2017-18.

Nationalised in 1951, Indian Railways is today the largest rail network in Asia and the world's second largest network operated under a single management. It has 115,000 km of track length. The US has the largest railway system in the world - about 240,000 km connecting 48 continental states. That is enough track to circle the Earth five times.

India first Machine-made paper was manufactured in 1812. During this time there were 15 mills with a total production of lakh tones. In India the Soft wood is the principal raw material used for making paper especially newsprint and high class printing papers. With rise in population and broadening of education the demand for paper has been constantly escalated.

The average elevation of Leh-Manali highway is more than 4,000 m (13,000 feet) and its highest elevation is 5,328 m (17,480 ft) at Tanglang La mountain pass. It is flanked by mountain ranges on both sides featuring some stunning sand and rock natural formations.

The state of Madhya Pradesh state houses an excellent roadways network which comprises national highways, state highways, district roads and other types of roads. It is home to 14 national highways spanning 4676 km and various state highways with an overall span of 8,728 km. The overall span of the roadways network of the state of Madhya Pradesh is 68105.6 km.

Railways were first introduced to India in 1853. By 1947, the year of India's independence, there were forty-two rail systems. In 1951 the systems were nationalized as one unit, becoming one of the largest networks in the world. Indian Railways operates both long distance and suburban rail systems.

The country has 13 major sea ports and about 200 non-major sea ports and intermediate ports. All the sea ports are located in the following states - Maharashtra, Gujarat, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Daman and Diu, Andhra Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Kerala, Karnataka, West Bengal, Lakshadweep, Puducherry and Goa.

The very first port developed after the Independence was the Kandla Port. Earlier only Mumbai has the port where business would take place so to bring down the traffic and ease the volume a step was taken to create another port that would help a lot.

V.O.Chidambaranar Port, formerly Tuticorin Port,[5] is one of the 12 major ports in India. It was declared to be a major port on 11 July 1974. It is second-largest port in Tamil Nadu and fourth-largest container terminal in India.
