CBSE Board Exam 2021 Update : 15% Relaxation on Attendance of Classes 10, 12 Students

Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has decided to give 15 percent relaxation on the attendance of students who will be appearing for the classes 10th and 12th board exam 2021.

This relaxation of attendance will be specifically implemented on students who have been unable to take the online classes during the Covid-19 lockdown.

CBSE Board Exam 2021: Attendance relaxation

The 15 percent of relaxation on attendance will be given to students who are unable to join the online classes due to technical reason and their schools have not been able to provide them with the needed facilities.

To appear in the CBSE class 10, 12 board exam 2021, students are needed to have at least 75 percent attendance in school.

The board has so far allowed the exemption of attendance in a case of sickness. Due to the spread of Covid-19 this time, an online class is being run only.

CBSE Board Exam 2021: Details of the attendance relaxation policy

In such a situation, the board will give exemption on grounds of technical reasons. This relaxation on attendance will apply to students for lockdown and unlock-four only.

Students must note that there were lockdown and unlock-four from April to September.

During this time, the students depended only on online studies. During this period, the students, who have not been able to become an Attendance in school, will be given exemption in attendance.

According to the board, this exemption is only for the 2021 board examination. CBSE exam controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said that many children could not do online classes due to Covid -19. In such a situation, the exemption will be given this time in school attendance.
