CUET UG 2025: DU, JNU, Jamia Admission Process Explained – Check Now

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2025. Lakhs of students who appeared in this exam can now download their scorecards from the official website cuet.nta.nic.in or examservices.nic.in/resultservices.
As soon as the results are released, the next big step for the students is – to participate in the admission process in their preferred universities and register on time for the seat allocation process. Top colleges like DU, JNU and JMI will start the admission process soon. Students will soon have to choose their college, get their documents ready and register on the CSAS portal.

Delhi University (DU) Admission Process 2025
Admission to undergraduate courses in Delhi University will now be done through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). The portal is expected to open in August 2025. Students will pay a fee of Rs 250 for general category and Rs 100 for reserved category (SC, ST, PwBD) during registration.
Now admission to DU will be based only on CUET scores. While earlier 12th board marks were of great importance, now they will be considered only as a tie-breaker.
The admission process will have stages like choice filling, release of merit list, seat allotment and document verification. The university may also conduct spot rounds if seats remain vacant after the main round. For science subjects like BSc Honors, students are required to study Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th, and must have a minimum of 55% marks.
Admission to B.Tech course will be based on JEE Main Paper 1 score and 60% marks in PCM in class 12 are required. The most sought-after courses in DU include BA Honours Political Science, BA Honours History and BCom Honours, especially in prestigious colleges like Hindu College, SRCC and LSR.

JNU Admission 2025 – Fully based on CUET score
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will grant admission to all its undergraduate courses based on CUET UG scores only. JNU does not use the CSAS portal like DU, but follows its own online counselling process.

- Online Registration (on JNU portal)
- Document upload and verification
- Seat allocation based on merit list

- CUET application form and admit card
- 10th and 12th mark sheets
- Identity proof (Aadhaar/PAN etc.)
- Reserved category certificate (if applicable)

Jamia Millia Islamia Admission Process 2025
Admission to most undergraduate courses at Jamia Millia Islamia will be done through CUET UG scores. However, for some special courses like BTech, BArch and BDS, only JEE Main, NATA and NEET scores are recognized respectively.
For admission to CUET based courses, Jamia University will prepare an online merit list based on the result data received from NTA and conduct counseling on the basis of the same.

- Identity Proof (Aadhaar/PAN)
- Passport Size Photograph
- Transfer Certificate
- Migration Certificate
- Proof of Fee Payment
Foreign students will also need to submit documents such as passport, visa, residence permit and medical fitness certificate. The official dates for the Jamia admission process have not been released yet, so students are advised to keep a regular check on the university website.

After the release of CUET results, students are advised to first download and keep their scorecard safe. They should keep visiting the websites of the universities where they want to take admission regularly. Keep all the required documents scanned and ready in advance so that there is no problem during registration and counseling.
Students should complete the registration on CSAS portal and other university portals in time and participate in the seat allocation process immediately as soon as the cutoff list is released.
