Delhi University (DU) Admission Process 2025

Admission to undergraduate courses in Delhi University will now be done through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). The portal is expected to open in August 2025. Students will pay a fee of Rs 250 for general category and Rs 100 for reserved category (SC, ST, PwBD) during registration.

Now admission to DU will be based only on CUET scores. While earlier 12th board marks were of great importance, now they will be considered only as a tie-breaker.

The admission process will have stages like choice filling, release of merit list, seat allotment and document verification. The university may also conduct spot rounds if seats remain vacant after the main round. For science subjects like BSc Honors, students are required to study Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th, and must have a minimum of 55% marks.

Admission to B.Tech course will be based on JEE Main Paper 1 score and 60% marks in PCM in class 12 are required. The most sought-after courses in DU include BA Honours Political Science, BA Honours History and BCom Honours, especially in prestigious colleges like Hindu College, SRCC and LSR.
