The National Testing Agency (NTA) has debunked rumors regarding a supposed leak of the NEET-UG exam question paper. On the day of the exam, conducted across 557 cities in India and 14 cities abroad, social media buzzed with claims of a breach.

In one specific incident at Girls Higher Secondary Adarsh Vidya Mandir, Sawai Madhopur, Hindi medium students were mistakenly handed English question papers. The NTA acknowledged the error but emphasized that it wasn't indicative of a larger leak. According to a senior NTA official, the circulation of the question paper was due to students exiting the hall with it before the exam concluded.
NEET-UG 2024 Exam Statistics
NEET-UG 2024, which took place from 2 pm to 5.20 pm, witnessed a record-breaking registration of 23 lakh candidates. Among them, over 10 lakh were male, over 13 lakh were female, and 24 students identified under the third gender. Uttar Pradesh recorded the highest number of candidates, followed by Maharashtra and Rajasthan. Notably, in 2023, a total of 20,87,449 candidates had registered for NEET-UG.
