CUET 2027 : Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification for CUET 2027

Nationality and Age Criteria

  • Indian citizens only qualify for the CUET examination, but there are a few foreign nationals (from Nepal and Bhutan) who can apply.
  • No upper age limit applies for taking part in the CUET examination, although individual institutions can set an age limit for admissions.

Number of Attempts for CUET 2027

You are not restricted to the number of attempts that you can make in the CUET test provided that you fulfill the requirements set out in the CUET.

CUET Reservation Policy

CUET follows the government of India guidelines for reservation for specific categories. The method of reservation is given below:

Other Backward Classes (OBC-NC) 27%
Persons with Disability (PwD) 5%

PwD candidates need to have a disability certificate issued by a certified medical authority.
