GATE ME 2025 : Cutoff Marks
IIT Roorkee will announce the GATE 2025 cutoff for Mechanical Engineering (ME) after the exam on their official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. These cutoff marks are the minimum scores you need to pass the exam and qualify for M.Tech admissions at different institutes.
There are two types of cutoffs: the qualifying cutoff and the admission cutoff. The qualifying cutoff is the score required to pass the exam. The admission cutoff is the score needed to secure a seat in a particular institute. These cutoffs will vary depending on your category, the number of candidates, how tough the exam is, and how many seats are available.
The GATE ME 2025 exam will take place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, with results coming out on March 19, 2025. If you score above the qualifying cutoff, you'll be eligible for M.Tech admissions. You can also look at previous years' cutoffs to get an idea of what this year’s cutoffs might be.
Once the results are announced, IITs and NITs will begin the M.Tech admission process. They’ll release the opening and closing ranks for each institute. Admissions will be done through JoSAA 2025 counselling. Stay tuned for updates on the GATE ME 2025 cutoff once it's available.
