Sundarban forests are located in Ganga-Brahmaputra delta of West Bengal and Bangladesh. Mangrove forests of Sundarbans are largest mangrove forests of the world. Mangrove forests comprise of small shrubs or trees that grow in coastal saline or brackish waters. These shrubs or trees can withstand high salinity conditions.

Monsoon forests are also called tropical deciduous forests. These include broad leaved deciduous trees. These trees shed their leaves during dry season. These are mostly found in South East Asian countries. These consists of teak and thickest bamboo trees.
