    Choose the correct statement:
    Solution
    Correct Option: D
    Explanation:

    • When sperms are released from seminiferous tubules during the process called spermiation, the sperm heads become embedded in Sertoli cells so as to get nourishment for developing embryos.
    • In testis, the immature male germ cells (spermatogonia) produce sperms by spermatogenesis that begins at puberty. The spermatogonia present on the inside wall of seminiferous tubules multiply by mitotic division and increase in numbers.
    • Some of the spermatogonia called primary spermatocytes undergo meiosis-I to give rise to secondary spermatocytes (haploid).
    • Each secondary spermatocyte undergoes meiosis-II to give rise to two haploid spermatids which are transformed to spermatozoa by spermiogenesis.

So, the correct answer is option D

First sign of growing foetus that is noticed is?
    Solution
The time needed to fully develop a fetus in utero is called gestation. It can be subdivided into separate phases of gestation. The pre-embryonic phase is referred to as the first 2 weeks of prenatal development. During weeks 3–8, a growing person is called an embryo and a fetus from the fifth week of gestation to birth. The pre-embryonic and embryonic development phases are defined by cell division, migration, and differentiation. All organs systems are organized in rudimentary shape by the end of the embryonic period, although the organs themselves are either non-functional or semi-functional.After these first weeks of fetal development, basic growth begins, as the brain, spinal cord, heart and gastrointestinal tract begin to form. And so, the heart starts to beat which is seen as the first sign of a growing foetus.
