Exotic breeds are high yielding varieties which are imported to breed in local conditions. The most popular exotic breed of poultry is Minorca because it has small sized body and less maintenance cost.

• The wool is obtained from the body of many animals. Yak, sheep, camel, goat are the common animals which produce fur on their body which can be obtained and used in the production of wool.

Totipotency is the ability to divide and produce new cells. The ability of a cell to grow and develop into a multicellular organism is termed as cellular totipotency. All adult organisms develop from a single zygote; the resulting cells grow and differentiate to perform specific functions and loose the totipotency. However, the ability of a differentiated cell to convert into a totipotent cell is termed as dedifferentiation.
