    Akbar was the third Mughal emperor, who reigned from 1556 to 1605. He succeeded Humayun as the emperor in the year 1556, at the tender age of just 13. Akbar and Bairam Khan marched to reclaim the city of Delhi from Hemu, general of Sur dynasty.
