Freezing point is the temperature at which a liquid turns into a solid when cooled. At temperature just below the freezing point, the enzyme gets inactivated.

Enzymes are macromolecular biological catalysts. Enzymes accelerate, or catalyze, chemical reactions. In seeds, digestion is made possible at relatively low temperature by them.

Ribozymes are RNA molecules that are capable of catalyzing a chemical reaction. They occur naturally inside cells where they play an essential role in the ribosome, joining amino acids together to form protein chains. Ribozymes also play a role in other vital reactions such as RNA splicing, removal of introns, transfer RNA biosynthesis and viral replication.

Transaminases, also called Aminotransferases, catalyze the transfer of the amino group (-NH₂) of an amino acid to a carbonyl compound, commonly an α–keto acid. They belong to transferase group.

During glycolysis enzyme hexokinase changes glucose to glucose‑6‑ phosphate. Glucose‑6‑phosphate is inhibited by Feedback inhibition, a mechanism by which the concentration of certain cell constituents is limited.

Triglyceride molecule is completely hydrolyzed into three molecules of fatty acid + one molecule of glycerol.

Arachidonic acid is a polyunsaturated omega-6 fatty acid. It is structurally related to the saturated arachidic acid found in peanut oil.

In the DNA structure, Adenine (A) can form two hydrogen bonds with Thymine (T) while Cytosine (C) can form three hydrogen bonds with Guanine (G).
