Weekly Quiz Competition
  • Question 1
    1 / -0
Directions: There are two sets of figures namely the Problem figures (A), (B), (C), (D), (E) containing five figures and the Answer figures (1), (2), (3), (4), (5) . You have to select one figure from the Answer figures which will continue the same series as given in the Problem figures.

    Solution
In one step, the two elements interchange positions and the smaller element gets enlarged while the larger element gets reduced in size. In the next step, the smaller element is replaced by a new small element and the larger element is replaced by a new large element.
  • Question 2
    1 / -0
Directions: There are two sets of figures namely the Problem figures containing five figures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and the Answer figures (a), (b), (c), (d), (e). You have to select one figure from the Answer figures which will continue the same series as given in the Problem figures.

    Solution
    Correct Answer: (a)
All the symbols are rotating in anti-clockwise direction. Symbols are moving 2 places forward in anti-clockwise direction from figure (1) to figure (2) . Similarly symbols are moving 1 place forward in anti-clockwise direction from figure (2) to figure (3). Each time one symbol is being replaced by new symbol.
Similarly if we move symbols 2 places forward in anti-clockwise direction from figure (5) . Then we will get figure (a).
  • Question 3
    1 / -0
Directions: There are two sets of figures, namely the 'Problem' figures, containing five figures, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, and the 'Answer' figures, (a), (b), (c), (d), and (e). You have to select one figure from the 'Answer' figures which will continue the same series as given in the 'Problem' figures.

    Solution
After each 2nd step, one line is removed from the arrow figure on the top and a square is replaced by a circle. In the figure in the middle, after each step, the circle and the square are switching places, and after each second step, the coloured figure changes from left to right, and vice versa. In the figure at the bottom, after each second step, the circle changes to a square and one line changes. So, (c) is the correct option.
  • Question 4
    1 / -0
Directions: There are two sets of figures namely the Problem figures containing five figures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and the Answer figures (a), (b), (c), (d), (e). You have to select one figure from the Answer figures which will continue the same series as given in the Problem figures.

    Solution
After 2 steps the two figure moves anti-clockwise.Once the line is inside the figure later it is outside. This how it continues.Hence (e) is the correct option.
  • Question 5

    Solution
  • Question 6
    1 / -0
Directions: There are two sets of figures namely the Problem figures containing five figures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and the Answer figures (a), (b), (c), (d), (e). You have to select one figure from the Answer figures which will continue the same series as given in the Problem figures.

  • Question 7
    1 / -0
Directions: There are two sets of figures namely the Problem figures containing five figures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and the Answer figures (a), (b), (c), (d), (e). You have to select one figure from the Answer figures which will continue the same series as given in the Problem figures.

  • Question 8
    1 / -0
Directions: There are two sets of figures namely the Problem figures containing five figures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and the Answer figures (a), (b), (c), (d), (e). You have to select one figure from the Answer figures which will continue the same series as given in the Problem figures.

    Solution
One, two, three, one, two, three.....arcs get inverted sequentially. This inversion takes place in an ACW direction.
  • Question 9
    1 / -0
Directions: There are two sets of figures namely the Problem figures containing five figures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and the Answer figures (a), (b), (c), (d), (e). You have to select one figure from the Answer figures which will continue the same series as given in the Problem figures.

    Solution
In each step the line on the top of the square first decrease then after 3 steps increase, then again decreases. The angles by which the figure moves is 900 and then 450.In each step colored triangle is changing its position. So (e) is the correct option.
  • Question 10
    1 / -0
Directions: There are two sets of figures namely the Problem figures containing five figures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and the Answer figures (a), (b), (c), (d), (e). You have to select one figure from the Answer figures which will continue the same series as given in the Problem figures.

    Solution
Combination of symbols move 1 and 1.5 steps alternately.
  • Question 11
    1 / -0
Directions: There are two sets of figures namely the problem figures containing five figures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and the answer figures (a), (b), (c), (d), (e). You have to select one figure from the answer figures which will continue the same series as given in the problem figures.

  • Question 12
    1 / -0
Directions: There are two sets of figures namely the problem figures containing five figures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and the answer figures (a), (b), (c), (d), (e). You have to select one figure from the answer figures which will continue the same series as given in the problem figures.

    Solution
In each step the line is moving at 450 angle, towards the left. Then Alternatively each bullet is replaced by an alphabet or symbol so (e) is the correct option.
  • Question 13
    1 / -0
Directions: There are two sets of figures namely the problem figures containing five figures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and the answer figures (a), (b), (c), (d), (e). You have to select one figure from the answer figures which will continue the same series as given in the problem figures.

    Solution
The first step the figure close to the left is erased. In the next step it would move towards the left and new figure is added at the top.So (e) is the correct answer.
  • Question 14
    1 / -0
Directions: There are two sets of figures namely the problem figures containing five figures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and the answer figures (a), (b), (c), (d), (e). You have to select one figure from the answer figures which will continue the same series as given in the problem figures.

    Solution
    We can label the arcs as shown . The arcs get inverted in the sequence (1 & 2), (3, 4 & 5), (6 & 1), (2, 3 & 4), (5 & 6),..

    1 / -0
Directions: There are two sets of figures namely the problem figures containing five figures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and the answer figures (a), (b), (c), (d), (e). You have to select one figure from the answer figures which will continue the same series as given in the problem figures.

    Solution
    1) For the figure on the left hand side, its moving to and fro keeping its inner circle to be fixed, but changing the shaded part of the circle and the direction of the arrow on the end.
    2) For the figure on the right hand side, its fixed but the arrow and the line at both the ends are changed at every step.
