Keeping in mind the NEP 2020 (National Education Policy 2020) the Central Board of Secondary Education decided to continue using the 30% reduced CBSE Class 12 Syllabus of 2022-23 in the ongoing academic session 2025-26. Therefore, here we have provided the deleted Syllabus of Class 12 CBSE 2025-26.
Although, the board has released the updated syllabus where all the topics that need to be covered are mentioned. However, on this page, we have shared topics that are deleted from the CBSE Class 12 Syllabus 2025-26 and do not need to be covered by the students.

Deleted Syllabus of Class 12 Physics 2025-26
As per the latest syllabus of CBSE Class 12 Physics, various topics from a total of 10 chapters are deleted for 2025-26. The topics are deleted from Chapter 3 Current Electricity, Chapter 4 Moving Charges and Magnetism, Chapter 5 Magnetism and Matter, Chapter 6 Electromagnetic Induction, Chapter 7 Alternating Current, Chapter 9 Ray Optics and Optical Instruments, Chapter 10 Wave Optics, etc. A deleted information for Deleted Syllabus of Class 12 Physics 2025-26 CBSE board is given below.

The syllabus of the 12th class English Elective course for the academic year 2025-26 has been rationalized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). This paper, identified by subject code 001, is one of the several language courses offered by CBSE. The theory examination carries 80 marks and includes sections on Reading Comprehension with two unseen passages and a poem, an applied grammar section, a creative writing section, and a section on the prescribed textbook and fiction.
The remaining 20 marks are allocated for a seminar. The course utilizes two prescribed books: Kaleidoscope, a textbook by NCERT, and either A Tiger for Malgudi or The Financial Expert by R. K. Since the CBSE Board wanted to make the syllabus of CBSE Class 12 Accountancy 2025-26 easy they decided to omit some of its topics. From the Analysis of Financial Statements unit, the Comparative statements and common size statements are deleted, from the computerised accounting chapter the DBMS concept and features of DBMS, DBMS in Business applications and Generating accounting information payroll have been deleted. Along with these, the unit, Financial Statements of Not-profit Organisations has been fully removed from the Syllabus of CBSE Class 12, 2025-26.

Deleted Syllabus of CBSE Class 12 Hindi Core and Elective 2025-26
CBSE Board offers Hindi language courses to students in the form of CBSE Class 12 Hindi Core Paper (code 302) and CBSE Class 12 Hindi Elective (code 002). The syllabus for both papers consists of two sections: section A with objective questions and section B with subjective questions. However, the prescribed books for these papers difference.
The main distinction between the two papers is that Hindi Core focuses on providing basic language knowledge to candidates, while Hindi Elective delves deeper into prose, poetry, and grammar to enhance the candidate's understanding of the subject. In this article, we have provided separate lists of chapters that have been removed from the Hindi Core syllabus 2025 and the Hindi Elective syllabus 2025.
