NSO Syllabus 2023
NSO syllabus is based on the CBSE, ICSE and various state boards. If you sit for the second level and have moved onto the next class, the syllabus will remain the same (i.e. of the previous class). For classes 7, a total of 50 questions are asked in the NSO exam.
The maximum time duration for the Olympiad is one hour. Students who are appearing for the National Science Olympiad must go through the NSO Olympiad syllabus 2022-23. After going through the NSO Syllabus 2022-23, students must check the NSO exam pattern to know the marking scheme and types of questions asked that would help in better Preparation for NSO exam 2022-23.
Section – 1 : Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
Section – 2 : Heat, Motion and Time, Electric Current and its Effects, Winds, Storms and Cyclones, Light, Acids, Bases and Salts, Physical and Chemical Changes, Weather, Climate and Adaptations of Animals to Climate, Fibre to Fabric, Nutrition in Plants and Animals, Respiration in Organisms, Transportation in Plants and Animals, Reproduction in Plants, Natural Resources and Their Conservation (Soil, Water: A Precious Resource, Forests our Lifeline, Wastewater Story).
