There has been a major change in the rank list of Kerala Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Entrance Examination (KEAM 2025). After the High Court upheld the order of a single bench, the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) of Kerala has released the revised result of KEAM 2025. The rank list released earlier has been canceled.
Students who were registered for this exam can now download the revised rank list from the candidate portal by visiting the official website cee.kerala.gov.in.
According to official data, a total of 86,549 students appeared in the KEAM engineering exam this year. Out of these, 76,230 students were found eligible for the exam and 67,505 have been included in the final rank list.
33,425 students appeared in the KEAM 2025 pharmacy exam. Out of these, 27,841 students have been successful in getting included in the rank list.
As per the revised list, Joshua Jacob Thomas has secured the top rank by scoring 588.5773 marks out of 600. He was earlier ranked fifth.
Hari Kishan Baiju and Emil Iype Sachariya also scored the same marks (588.5773), and are ranked second and third respectively in the revised list.
The representation of students from the state of Kerala has decreased in the new list. Only 21 students in the top 100 ranks are from the state course of Kerala, while the rest are from other states.
Government did not Appeal Against the Decision
The state government has decided not to challenge the High Court's decision. The reason behind this is that the BTech admission process has to be completed by August 14, which is the last date set by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education).
Higher Education Minister R. Bindu said that the revised list has been prepared as per the rules given in the original prospectus of KEAM. He also informed that the government has the right to change the normalization system, but due to lack of time, it will not be challenged in the Supreme Court.
