West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has activated the reservation category declaration link for WBJEE 2025 candidates.

Candidates can enter their caste/tribe/community details and upload the relevant certificates by logging in at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee.

This process is mandatory before the WBJEE 2025 result is prepared.

The last date to update the reservation category is August 21, 2025 (11:59 PM). Any kind of category change request will not be accepted by the authorities after this date. So candidates are advised to upload their certificates and update the category soon.

Steps for WBJEE 2025 Reservation Category Declaration

Visit the website: Open wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee.
Click on the link: Select the ‘SC/ST/OBC Declaration’ link.
Enter login details: Fill in the application form number, roll number and date of birth.
Login: After login, select your social category.
Upload certificate: Upload the relevant certificate and submit.

After completing these easy steps your category will be updated for WBJEE 2025 result.

Will WBJEE 2025 Result be released soon?

WBJEEB has recently started this process, which has given students hope that WBJEE 2025 Result will be released soon. Earlier, the Kolkata High Court had directed WBJEEB to prepare a new merit list as per the rule of 7% OBC reservation. WBJEEB was set to release the result on August 7, 2025, but the High Court rejected the earlier merit list calling it "flawed and untenable".

So, now candidates are getting the facility to choose their reservation category and upload the certificate. This means that WBJEEB may soon declare the WBJEE 2025 Result with the correct and updated merit list.
