Exam Pattern

Section A( fill in the blanks, true/false, match the following, choose the correct answer, one word sentence) - 5*5=25

Section B ( Q6 to Q21)

Q6 to Q12 - 7*4=28

Q13 to Q19- 7*5=35

Q20 to Q21- 2*6=12

Total marks for the exam would be 25+28+35+12= 100 marks. Total duration for the exam would be 3 hours.

 

Tips to get good marks in mathematics

  • Students need to practise a lot. 
  • Maintain a separate booklet for formulas and some important points given to students by teachers.
  • During the examination do revise the answers so that one doesn't miss out any steps. 
  • Students need to maintain a neat and tidy answer sheet during the examination so that the teacher can give extra marks for good handwriting.
  • During preparations try to solve more and more previous year papers so that one gets an idea towards the exam pattern and feels confident during the examination.
