CBSE Class 12 Result 2024: Application for Verification of Marks Starts; Last Date 21st May – Check Complete Process

If you're not happy with your CBSE 2024 results, you can now apply for verification of marks. Besides mark verification, students can also request a photocopy of their answer sheets and apply for re-evaluation. The deadline to apply for CBSE Class 12 verification is May 21. Applications must be submitted online at cbse.gov.in.

The CBSE Class 12 results were announced on May 13. Out of the 16,21,224 students who took the exam, 14,26,420 passed. This year's overall pass rate is 87.98%. However, 1,22,170 students have been placed in the compartment category.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Only students who apply for mark verification can request a photocopy of their evaluated answer book.
  • Only students who receive the photocopy of their answer book can apply for re-evaluation.

All application steps and fee payments are done online. If there is any decrease in scores, even by one mark, it will be updated. If your scores change, you must surrender your current Class 12 marksheet to receive a new one.

If you're not satisfied with your CBSE 2024 results, you can take the following steps:

  1. Apply for Verification: To get a photocopy of your evaluated answer books, you must first apply for verification of marks.
  2. Request a Photocopy: Only students who applied for verification are eligible to request a photocopy of their answer sheets.
  3. Apply for Re-evaluation: If you want to challenge the marks awarded to a specific answer, you must apply for re-evaluation after obtaining the photocopy.

Make sure to complete all applications online at cbse.gov.in before the deadline on May 21.
