CBSE Class 12 Results 2023 Revaluations to Begin from May 16, Supplementary Exams in July

Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE Class 12 Results 2023 have been announced. Over 16 lakh students appeared for the examination. Out of which, 87.33% have passed. Students will also get an option of applying for revaluation of their CBSE Answer Sheets.

CBSE Class 12 Result 2023 revaluation will begin from May 16, 2023 – which is Monday. The process has been digitised by the board and students will need to apply online for the same. Students who have been placed in compartment can appear for the Supplementary or Compartment exams, which are scheduled to be conducted in July.

Detailed instructions on how to apply for the revaluation would be provided on the website once activated. The basic process is also explained below.

 CBSE Result 2023 Revaluation Process

Revaluation is a three step process. All are done in a chronological order. Students need to complete step 1 and then 2 and 3. In case students do not apply for step 1 or 2, they cannot then apply for the revaluation – which is step 3.

Step 1: Re-Counting/ Rechecking

The first step is to apply for recounting or rechecking of the answer sheets. In this process, students need to register and apply for the same by paying the fees. Once the fee is done, the students can select the papers (subjects) they want to apply for the rechecking/ recounting of. Remember, at this step, the board would only do re-totalling and check if any question has not been marked.

Step 2: Apply for Scanned Copies

Once the result for the first one is done, students can apply for the scanned copies online. Remember, you can only apply for the scanned copies of the papers you have applied for in Step 1.

Step 3: Revaluation

Under this step, students need to apply for the revaluation of an answer already written. After going through the scanned answer sheets, students can request for reassessment of a particular question whose marks the student is not satisfied about. For this step, students have to apply question wise for the revaluation.

Students can also reach out to their schools for help with the same. Complete notice will be available on cbse.gov.in. The process fees and link will be provided by CBSE by Sunday.
