The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) just announced the dates for Class 12 supplementary exams and reevaluation. If you're looking to improve your scores or review your marks, here's what you need to know.

The Class 12 board exam results came out today (May 13), and you can check your scorecards on official websites like cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, results.digilocker.gov.in, and umang.gov.in.

Supplementary exams for Class 12 are scheduled to take place from July 15. Remember, the application process for both supplementary exams and reevaluation is strictly online. CBSE won't accept any offline applications.

If you want to verify your marks, you have a window of five days, starting from May 17 until May 21.

This year's pass percentage for Class 12 board exams is 87.98%. Girls achieved a pass percentage of 91.52%, while boys reached 85.12%. So, if you're aiming to boost your grades, now's the time to prepare.

Step 1: Visit the official website — cbse.gov.in

Step 2: Click on “Important Notices” on the Homepage

Step 3: Click on the supplementary date sheet link.

Step 4: Save and download the date sheet for future reference.

CBSE Board Class 12th Result 2024 Revaluation: How to apply

Step 1: Go to the official website – cbse.gov.in

Step 2: Navigate to the application link of revaluation, on the home page

Step 3: Login using your necessary credential

Step 4: Fill up the application form and complete your application registration with fee payment

Step 5: Download the form and payment confirmation slip for future reference.

In 2023, the Class 12 pass rate dipped slightly to 87.33% compared to the previous year. Girls outshone boys with a pass percentage of 90.68%, while boys achieved 84.67%.

In 2022, students who couldn't pass any of the first five subjects, except language, but applied for six or more subjects, were allowed to pass by substituting the failed subject with the sixth one and could also appear in compartment examinations to improve their grades.

The year 2021 marked an impressive pass rate of 99.37%, a significant increase from the previous year's 88.8%. Contrastingly, in 2019, the overall pass percentage stood at 83.4%.
