IISER Application 2025: Registration Begins on March 5 – Check Eligibility, Fees & How to Apply

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) has released the brochure for the IISER Entrance Examination 2025. The registration for the exam will begin on March 5 and end on April 15, 2025. The exam will be held on May 25, 2025.

The IISER entrance exam is for students seeking admission to the BS-MS dual degree program in science or the 4-year BS degree in engineering and economic sciences (offered only at IISER Bhopal).

IISER 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have completed Class 12 (or an equivalent exam) in the science stream with at least 60% marks (for general candidates) are eligible to apply for IAT 2025. For SC/ST and PwD candidates, the minimum requirement is 55%.

Click the "IISER IAT 2025 Registration" link (once it’s available).
Register and fill out the application form.
Pay the application fee and submit the form.
Print a copy of your application for reference.

How to Fill IISER 2025 Application Form

Follow these steps to complete your IISER application:

Step 1: Registration

Enter your name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, and email ID.
Generate an OTP and validate it.
After verification, you’ll receive a User ID and password.

Step 2: Personal Details

Log in using your User ID and password.
Fill in your personal details, like your guardian's name, contact info, and address.

Step 3: Qualification Details

Provide details about your Class 10th and 12th education.
Enter your board and school information.

Step 4: Upload Documents

Upload your scanned photograph, signature, and Class 12 marksheet.
Preview your application and submit it.

Step 5: KVPY, SCB, and JEE Advanced Channel (if applicable)

If applying through KVPY or JEE Advanced, fill in the required details.
Pay the application fee for each channel you apply through.

Step 6: Payment

Pay the IISER application fee via UPI, debit/credit cards, or net banking.

IISER 2025 Aptitude Test

Candidates applying via the SCB channel will take the IISER Aptitude Test on May 25, 2025. The test will be computer-based, with 60 multiple-choice questions divided into four sections: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Each section will have 15 questions. Correct answers will earn +3 marks, while incorrect answers will have a penalty of -1 mark.
