There have been modifications made to the JEE Main 2027 exam pattern by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and are available on its official website at nta.ac.in. It may be noted that there is an end to optional questions in Section B in both Papers of the exam from the year 2027 onward i.e. Paper 1 (B.E/B.Tech) and Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Plan).

The JEE Main pattern should be carefully analyzed for information regarding marking scheme, time duration, type of questions and other aspects. The JEE Main 2027 exam for B.E/B.Tech will consist of 75 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for 300 marks.

There are 25 mandatory questions in each subject out of which 20 are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) while 5 are Numerical Value Questions (NVQs) in each section without any optional question. JEE Main exams will be held in January and April 2027.
