MP Board Class 10th Science Previous Year Question Paper with Solutions

Exam Pattern
Objective type ( MCQ, fill in the blanks, match the following, one sentence answer ; 5 questions each) ; 5 *4 = 20 marks.
5th question to 9th question ( 30 words for each question ; 2 marks for each question) ; 2*5=10 marks.
10th question to 14th question ( 75 words for each question ; 3 marks for each question) ; 3*5= 15 marks
15th question to 19th question ( 120 words for each question ; 4 marks for each question) ; 4*5=20 marks
20th question to 22nd question ( 150 words for each question; 5 marks for each question) ; 5*3=15 marks.
By this exam pattern we can get an idea about the marking scheme and the total number of questions. Total marks would be ( 20+10+15+20+15= 80 marks) and total number of questions would be 22.
Chapters included in this previous year paper are- chemical reactions and equations, heredity and evolution, light reflection & refraction, metals & non-metals, acids bases salts, carbon & its compounds, periodic classification of elements, the human eye & colourful world, magnetic effects of electric current, electricity, our environment, sources of energy, life process, control & coordination, sustainable management of natural resources, how do organisms produce.
Tips to get a good marks in science
- Start your preparations step by step, first is to study each chapter and make your notes accordingly.
- Then to start revising, revise it again wherever you feel weak in a particular chapter.
- Start solving previous papers so that you get an idea where you are heading.
- Start your 2nd revision and give chapter wise tests so that you can get to know which section is weaker.
- Revise as much as possible so that one doesn't forget any important points during the exam.
