NSO Syllabus 2023
NSO syllabus is based on the CBSE, ICSE and various state boards. If you sit for the second level and have moved onto the next class, the syllabus will remain the same (i.e. of the previous class). For classes 6, a total of 50 questions are asked in the NSO exam.
The maximum time duration for the Olympiad is one hour. Students who are appearing for the National Science Olympiad must go through the NSO Olympiad syllabus 2022-23. After going through the NSO Syllabus 2022-23, students must check the NSO exam pattern to know the marking scheme and types of questions asked that would help in better Preparation for NSO exam 2022-23.
Section – 1 : Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
Section – 2 : Motion and Measurement of Distances, Light, Shadows and Reflections, Electricity and Circuits, Fun with Magnets, Our Environment (Water, Air Around us, Garbage in Garbage out), Sorting and Separation of Materials, Changes Around Us, The World of Living (Characteristics of Living Beings, Parts of Plants, Body Movements in Animals and Adaptation), Food and its Components, Fibre to Fabric.
