NSO Syllabus 2023

NSO syllabus is based on the CBSE, ICSE and various state boards. If you sit for the second level and have moved onto the next class, the syllabus will remain the same (i.e. of the previous class). For classes 10, a total of 50 questions are asked in the NSO exam.

The maximum time duration for the Olympiad is one hour. Students who are appearing for the National Science Olympiad must go through the NSO Olympiad syllabus 2022-23. After going through the NSO Syllabus 2022-23, students must check the NSO exam pattern to know the marking scheme and types of questions asked that would help in better Preparation for NSO exam 2022-23.

Section – 1 : Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

Section – 2 : Crop Production and Management, Microorganisms, Synthetic Fibres and Plastics,  Metals and Non-metals, Coal and Petroleum, Combustion and Flame, Conservation of Plants and Animals, Cell, Reproduction and Endocrine System, Force and Pressure, Friction, Sound, Chemical Effects of Electric Current, Some Natural Phenomena, Light, Stars and the Solar System, Pollution of Air and Water.
