Basphils are responsible for inflammatory reactions during immune response, as well as in the formation of acute and chronic allergic diseases. They can perform phagocytosis (cell eating), produce histamine and serotonins that induce inflammation, and heparin that prevents blood clotting.

Red blood cells (RBC) live for 120 days and white blood cells (WBC) live for  90 days. Afterwards they are degraded in spleen.

Blood plasma is pale yellow in colour due to presence of bilirubin pigment in it. Blood appear red due to presence of hemoglobin in RBC.

The muscle forming cells are called myoblasts cells. Myoblast is a type of embryonic progenitor cell that differentiates to give rise to muscle cells.

Stratum Malpighi is the basal layer of skin epidermis having basal layer and generative layer that produces new cells by mitosis.
