Endoplasmic Reticulum(ER) is tubular in structure which helps in the transport of substances within the cell. It is also called as endoskeleton of the cell.

Golgi body helps in the secretion of substances like enzymes, it helps in the proper metabolic functioning of the cell.

Lysosomes are known as the digestive organs of the cell. They engulf food materials and other substances which are hydrolyzed by enzymes.

When cell becomes old or damaged beyond repair, the lysosmes secrete enzymes in the cytoplasm that leads to the death of the cell. Hence, they are called the suicide bags of the cell. The energy in the form of ATP is stored in mitochondria and hence are called the power house of the cell.

Centrosome is an organelle present near the nucleus of an animal cell. It initiates the process of cell division. In plant cells, centrioles appear only at the time of cell division.

Plastids are of three types, i.e. chloroplasts, leucoplasts and chromoplasts. Leucoplasts are colourless plastids which are capable of storing food materials.

The green plastids present in plant cells are chloroplasts. Chloroplasts contain green colored pigment called chlorophyll.

The cell wall is made up of cellulose.

Epithelial cells line the hollow organs and glands and also cover the whole surface of the body. They secrete a variety of chemicals and are involved in receiving external stimuli.

Cell wall is the non - living part of the plant cell.
