Level 1 Eligibility

Enrollment: Students must be enrolled in a school recognized by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF).

Class Restriction: A student of Class 8 must appear for the Class 8 Olympiad only.

Other Criteria: There are no other specific eligibility criteria beyond school enrollment and class participation.
Level 2 Eligibility

Class Range: Level 2 is only held for students in classes 3-12. Therefore, Class 8 students are eligible to appear for Level 2.

Selection Process: A student qualifies for Level 2 by being among the top 5% of participating students in their class (Class 9) in the Level 1 exam.
How to Participate

Application Method: Students cannot apply individually. All applications must be submitted via the student's school.

School Requirement: Schools must apply and submit the form for the SOF International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) at least 30 days before the exam date.
