CBSE 12th Business Studies Exam 2019: Analysis, Review & Students' Reaction
CBSE Class 12 Business Studies paper 2019 was conducted today (14 April 2019, 10:30 AM to 01:30 PM). Check paper analysis and review of CBSE Class 12 Business Studies Board Exam 2019.
About 3,00,000+ students appeared for CBSE Business Studies Paper today. Today, as usual, the gates of the CBSE examination centers were opened at 09:00 AM and closed at 10:00 AM.
The question papers of Business Studies subject were distributed to students between 10:00 AM to 10:15 AM. The time allotted to read the complete question paper was 15 minutes i.e. from 10:15 AM to 10:30 AM. The examination of CBSE Class 12 Business Studies began at 10:30 AM and continued till 1:30 PM.

Format of The Question Paper
There were 5 sections in Business Studies paper 2019 (A, B, C, D and E), more details about each section is given below
Section A - Question number 1 to 8 (1 Mark each): Word limit - one word or a sentence.
Section B - Question number 9 to 13 (3 marks each): Word limit - 50 to 75 words.
Section C - Question number 14 to 19 (4 Marks each): Word limit - about 120 words
Section D - Question number 20 to 22 (5 marks each): Word limit - about 150 words
Section E - Question number 23 to 25 (6 marks each): Word limit - about 200 words
There was no over-all-choice in the question paper, however an internal choice was available in 3 questions of one mark, 2 questions of three marks, 2 questions of four marks, 1 question of five marks and 1 question of six marks. You needed to attempt only one of the choices in such questions.
Lengthy but Easy Paper, say Students
The paper was very lengthy and I finished it just on time, said Delhi student Yogin.
The BST paper was very simple and everything was NCERT-based but the paper was very long, he added.
"The answers are all there in NCERT, but students should have practiced application-based questions more to score well," said Board examiner Sumana Roy.
BST Paper was of Average Difficulty
The difficulty level was average and most students gave it a difficulty rating of 5-6, on a scale of 10 being the most difficult.
"Average students can expect around 70," said Board examiner Roy.
