CBSE Class 12th Exam 2021 Likely to Be Held in July. Except for Delhi, All States are Agreed. Here are Announcements and highlights

On Sunday, a high-level virtual meeting was held to discuss the CBSE class 12th Examination and entrance examination. This meeting was held in the presence of all state’s Education Ministers and state Education Secretaries. This high-level meeting was chaired by Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
The CBSE Class 12th Examination Dates and mode of examination is likely to be announced by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on June 1, HT Source.
All States and UTs are in favour of conducting CBSE Class 12th Examination except the Capital of India Delhi.
“We Can’t Play with 1.5 crore Students Life”, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia Said
Delhi Education Minister & Deputy CM Manish Sisodia was also a part of the high-level meeting which was held on 23 May. He addressed that the Delhi government is not in the favour of exam conduction. This is not the right time to conduct the examination.” He also mentioned that almost 1.5 crore students are in class 12th and almost 1.5 crore teachers are across India. We can’t play with their life. He raised a demand to arrange the vaccine for all students and vaccinate them before conducting the examination. He addressed it in Hindi language.
He also said that “in Delhi, there are almost 95% of students in class 12th who are 17.5 years old. The center should talk to Health experts and vaccine manufacturing companies if they can give the vaccines to all the students across India.” He raised this issue at the high-level virtual meeting.
Earlier we had updated you regarding the two options for exam conduction which were suggested by CBSE Board. One option is to conduct the class 12th Examination at exam centers but with limited subjects only for “Major Subjects” and the second option is to conduct the exam after making changes in exam pattern. Such as taking the examination at own schools (home-based) with a time frame of 1.5 hours.
Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has tweeted on his official Twitter handle
“As envisioned by the Hon'ble PM, the meeting was extremely fruitful as we received immensely valuable suggestions. I have requested the State Governments to send me their detailed suggestions by 25th May.”
On 14th April, The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had made an announcement that the board examination was postponed due to the outbreak of COVID Situation. CBSE Board mentioned that further info regarding board examination would be given to 1st June.
