The Delhi Government has announced free professional coaching for 2,200 meritorious government school students. This initiative covers preparation for JEE, NEET, CLAT, CA Foundation, and CUET.
Education Minister Ashish Sood made the announcement under the Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Vidya Shakti Mission.
The mission focuses on supporting students' dreams, ensuring their emotional well-being, and building future-ready schools across Delhi. An official statement released on Monday shared these details.

Budget and Seat Allocation
The scheme has a budget of Rs 21 crore. It was first announced in the Delhi budget. The government has reserved 50 seats per course for female students in JEE, NEET, CLAT, and CA Foundation. CUET-UG coaching will offer 1,000 seats, with 150 seats reserved for girls.

Coaching Partners and Support
The government has partnered with top coaching institutes to deliver this programme. These include:
- Aakash Institute
- Narayana Academy
- KD Campus
- Ravindra Institute
Students will get classroom coaching, live sessions, study materials, and test preparation support. Classes will be held after school hours and on weekends.

Selection Process and Current Status
Around 62,000 students appeared for CET-2025, which was held on October 30. The counselling process has been completed. Physical classes began on November 26, 2025.
Minister's Statement on the Mission
Education Minister Ashish Sood called this initiative a major step forward for Delhi's public education system. He said education isn't just about marks. It's also about mental wellness, dignity, and humanity.
The minister added that the government is working on AI-enabled classrooms and human-centred education systems. These efforts aim to provide equal opportunities to every child in Delhi.
Sood described the Vidya Shakti Mission as a movement. According to him, it will empower talent, protect mental wellness, and unlock Delhi's academic potential at the grassroots level.
