CBSE Class 12th Board Exam 2021 CANCELLATION Decision: Students Should Know About These Major Changes

As COVID-19 cases are rising day by day, the demands are increasing for the cancellation of CBSE Class 12th Examination 2021. However, there has been no official decision taken yet by the CBSE board to cancel the examination.

It is informed to students that CBSE Class 12th Examination 2021 was earlier scheduled to start from the 4th May 2021 to the 14th of June 2021. But due to a surge in COVID-19 cases, CBSE took a decision to postpone the exam.

Later, while delivering the news of CBSE Class 12th Exam Postponed. The board authorities mentioned that they will review the ongoing COVID situations and will announce the further decision on 1 June.

The board authorities also announced that they will release the new exam dates for CBSE Class 12th examination at least 15 days prior to the start of the exam.

Actions Taken for Cancelling the CBSE Board Exam

Meanwhile, for cancelling the exam. There is already a PIL (Public Interest Litigation) case  that has been filed regarding the cancellation of CBSE Class 12th Board Examination. This case was filled by Tony Joseph, a teacher from Kerala.

However, a group of parents, teachers, and students are demanding to cancel the CBSE Board Examination 2021. And also make some similar marking strategies to be adopted.

The majority of groups or associations have also written letters to the Prime Minister of India to find out some alternative method to conduct the pending exams. In that letter, they have mentioned that Due to the corona outbreak taking examinations by offline mode is not ideal.

Also, A meeting was held on Monday 17th, in that meeting the Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has asked for suggestions from the states to conduct the pending examinations.

Decision Taken by the CBSE Affiliated Schools for Class 12th Exam

However, there are a few changes that have been announced by the CBSE affiliated Schools.

As all students are aware, the summer vacations have started in the schools. And all students had their own plans for the summer vacations. But the CBSE affiliated schools have announced, they will hold a test for the Students of CBSE Class 12th 2021.

This Special Exam Schedule is set by the affiliated schools for those students who are going to be a part of the CBSE 12th Class Board Examination 2021. This test will be held after the vacation ends.
