CBSE Class 12th Board Examination is expected to be held from July 15 to August 26. The latest updated date sheet for CBSE Class 12th Board Examination 2021 will be announced on June 1. The board will have a meeting to evaluate the practical aspect of board exams later then the date sheet will be released.
As we had earlier updated on selfstudys.com the board has two options to conduct the class 12th examination. In both the options, the examination mode will be offline.
According to the sources, CBSE Board can release the class 12th board exam result 2021 in September. However, the final decision is left yet to be announced on June 1st.

The above highlights are according to the meeting held on May 23, 2021. These are just an assumption. The actual exam-related updates will be available on June 1st.
CBSE Class 12th Examination 2021 Key Points:
As per the latest high level meeting amongst the ministers of India for CBSE Board Exam. We have found some key points that class 12th students should know
- The board examination will be held in two phases. We can’t give the surety of the differences between the two phases. But the exam will be held between July 15 to 26 of August.
- There are two options to conduct the board exam. But one thing is sure that exam mode will be offline.
- Updated Exam Date Sheet and other exam-related information are yet to finalized. Wait for June 1st to get all the actual information.
- The Exam pattern of Class 12th Board Examinations may have a few changes. Such as the number of questions can be reduced, the Time frame can be 1.5 hours instead of 3 hours long, Mostly MCQ questions are expected.
- Board has two options to conduct the examination. If the second option will be chosen which is that exam will be in-home centers (Where students are enrolled) then any student who misses the exam due to COVID will have option to attend the exam after around 15 days.
There is one thing certain that the examination will not be held in a regular pattern. There will be some kind of changes. Many states and UTs have agreed to take the examination from the given options. But some ministers in the meeting (23 May, Sunday) had demanded to look for the mixed possibilities of the given exam options.
Also, Delhi Education Minister and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia have openly disagreed with the board exam decision.
If the 2nd option will be chosen for conducting the examination then students will have options to appear for the exam at a later stage if they miss the exam due to any COVID-related issue. After 15 days that student will be able to give their board exam. However, the final decision is yet to be announced on 1st June.
