However, Rajasthan's NEET UG exam this year has been surrounded by controversy. On May 5, an incident occurred at Girls Higher Secondary Adarsh Vidya Mandir, Mantown, Sawai Madhopur, where Hindi-medium students were mistakenly given English-medium question papers. This led to students leaving the exam hall with the English-medium papers, which later circulated on social media platforms, as per NTA's statement.
Additionally, Bihar faced allegations of a paper leak, as reported by the Economic Offences Unit (EOU) of the Bihar Police. They claimed to have seized "admit cards, post-dated cheques, and certificates" from members of an organized gang arrested in connection with the alleged question paper leak of NEET UG 2024. In Bihar, a total of 1,36,188 candidates (72,661 male and 63,527 female) appeared for the exam this time.
