ITF Transport Outlook 2023 was released recently by the International Transport Forum at the OECD. It was released during the at the ITF Summit in Leipzig, Germany. The analysis covers the movement of passengers and freight across all transport modes. It examines the impacts of different policy measures on global transport demand and carbon dioxide emissions to 2050.

The survey was undertaken by the Department of Science and Technology, in collaboration with the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO). As per the survey, Karnataka is the most innovative state in manufacturing followed by Telangana.

The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) recently released a report titled “Contribution of terrestrial animal source food to healthy diets for improved nutrition and health outcomes ”.
According to this report, animal food products like meat, eggs and milk can help achieve global nutrition targets.

The report titled “A Breakthrough For People and Planet: Effective And Inclusive Global Governance for Today And The Future ”was released recently by the UN ’s High-Level Advisory Board (HLAB) on Effective Multilateralism.
The report provides an ambitious strategy to overhaul the global governance system.

As per the Hurun ’s Global Unicorn Index, India has retained its 3rd spot as the country with the highest number of unicorns worldwide.
With 68 new unicorns, India lags behind the US and China, which have 666 and 316 unicorns, respectively. India added 14 new unicorns since the pandemic began, but none of the start-ups made it to the top 10. According to the report, BYJU ’s is the top-most unicorn in India, with a valuation of USD 22 billion, followed by Swiggy and Dream11.

The State of World Population report titled ‘8 Billion Lives, Infinite Possibilities ’was released recently by the United Nations Population Fund.
According to this report released by UNFPA, India is now the most populous country in the world, as it has surpassed China ’s population numbers.
