KCET 2019 : Registration Started (Apply Now)

The application form for KCET 2019 has been released on the official website kea.kar.nic.in.

Candidates can scroll to our Application Form page to register online. The KCET 2019 is scheduled to be held on April 23, 24, and 25, 2019

KCET is a state level examination, held for admission in engineering, technology, farm science, and pharmacy courses.

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is holding the Karnataka CET 2019 in offline mode.

The admission through KCET 2019 will only be granted in the undergraduate courses by Government / University / Private Aided / Private Un‐Aided Professional Educational Institutions in the State of Karnataka.

Around 1.5 to 2 lakh candidates apply for KCET every year, in hopes to get admission in B.Tech / B.Tech, B.V.Sc & A.H, B.Sc. (Agriculture, Sericulture, Horticulture, Forestry, Community Science, Bio.Tech, B.Tech (Food Technology / Dairy), B.Pharm, and Pharm-D courses.

KCET 2019: Application Fee 

Candidates have to pay the application fee for KCET 2019 through online mode only. Aspirants can pay the fee through e-challan listed banks such as e-Post office, State Bank of India, Corporation Bank and ICICI Bank.

KCET 2019: Eligibility Criteria

It is important the students must check the eligibility criteria for the course for which they wish to apply for before registering for the entrance exam. Below we have given the eligibility for each and every course. The candidates should proceed to register only after checking the eligibility for KCET 2019.

  • Nationality – The aspirant should be an Indian National
  • Educational Qualification – The aspirants should fulfill the following criteria:

AYUSH Should have passed the second year Pre‐University or 12th standard or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages of study
  • Should have secured an aggregate of 50% marks in case of General Category
  • 40% (marks in case of SC/ST, Cat-1, OBC (2A, 2B, 3A, 3B ) category candidates
B.Arch Should have passed 2nd PUC / 12th Std / Equivalent Exam with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects
  • Should have secured an aggregate of 50% marks in case of General Category
  • 45% marks in case of SC/ST, Cat-1, OBC (2A, 2B, 3A, 3B ) category candidates
B.E. / B.Tech Should have Passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Std / Equivalent Exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Bio‐Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study
  • Should have secured an aggregate of 45% marks in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer.
  • 40% marks in case of SC/ST, Cat-1, OBC (2A, 2B, 3A, 3B ) category candidates
Farm Science courses The aspirants should have passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Std / Equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology as optional subjects.
Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry course c Candidate should have Passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Std with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects
  • Should have secured an aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English
  • 40% marks in case of SC/ST, Cat-1, OBC (2A, 2B, 3A, 3B ) category candidates
B‐Pharma
  • The candidates should have passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Std with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

OR

  • Passed in Diploma in Pharmacy Examination from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India
  • Should have secured a minimum of 45% of Marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects (40% for SC, ST, Cat‐1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates) in the Qualifying examination

OR

  • Should have secured minimum 45% marks in the Diploma examination (40% for SC, ST, Cat‐1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates)
2nd Year B. Pharma Should have passed in Diploma in Pharmacy Examination from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India Should have secured minimum 45% marks in the Diploma examination (40% for SC, ST, Cat‐1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates)
 Pharma‐D
  •  The candidate should have passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Std with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

OR
