Payment Deadline and Bank Details Mandatory

SEBA has also extended the exam fee payment deadline to October 24, 2025. It is mandatory for all students to have a valid bank account in their name. Schools must upload students' bank details to the registration portal. If this information is not provided, the student will not receive the prescribed allowance and their registration will be considered incomplete.

Application Process: How to Register Online

All eligible candidates can apply online by visiting SEBA's official website, sebaonline.org. The registration process is as follows:

  • First, visit the official SEBA website.
  • Click on the HSLC Examination 2026 Registration link.
  • Enter your student login details.
  • Fill in the required information and complete the application form.
  • After submitting the form, download and save the confirmation page

Examination Fee and Waivers

The fee structure for the 2026 HSLC Examination is as follows:

  • Examination Fee: ₹800
  • Practical Exam Fee: ₹50
  • Examination Center Fee: ₹350

However, students whose parents' annual income is less than ₹200,000 will be exempted from both the examination fee and the center fee. This exemption will apply to students from both government and private institutions.

Responsibilities of Institutions

Each recognized institution must pay an annual renewal fee of ₹1,000, the same as last year. This fee must be borne by the institution itself and cannot be collected from students under any circumstances. Additionally, all schools must ensure that they upload student information and bank details to the portal on time.

Important Instructions

  • Registration Deadline: October 21, 2025
  • Fee Payment Deadline: October 24, 2025

Students who fail to register and pay fees on time will not be permitted to appear for the HSLC 2026 exam.

Therefore, all students and institutions should complete their procedures on time to avoid any problems during the exam.
