The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has provided a major relief to students preparing for the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination in 2026.

The board has extended the application form submission deadline. The deadline was earlier, but now students have until October 21, 2025. Additionally, examination fees and other necessary payments can be made until October 24, 2025.

This extension has been given in view of the ongoing festival season and school holidays in Assam, so that students and schools do not face any difficulties in completing the necessary procedures.

Assam HSLC Exam 2026: How to fill the form

Here is how students can fill the HSLC forms online:

Visit the official SEBA portal at sebaonline.org.
Login using the school credentials provided by the Board.
Enter student details, including personal and bank account information.
Upload required documents and verify all entries carefully.
Submit the form before the extended deadline of October 21.
Pay the applicable examination fees by October 24.

Completing the process correctly ensures eligibility for the HSLC 2026 exams without delays.

Assam HSLC Exam 2026: Exam Schedule and Subjects

The exams are expected to be held between February and March 2026. The exams will be held in two sessions each day. The morning session will run from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, while the afternoon session will run from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

In these exams, students will have to prove their proficiency in core subjects such as Mathematics, English, Social Science, General Science, Hindi, Assamese, and other optional subjects. It is mandatory for students to secure a chance to appear in the exams by filling their forms within the extended deadline.
