This year, an impressive 24 students achieved a perfect 100 percentile score. The JEE Main April session was conducted between April 2 and April 9, 2025, at multiple exam centers across the country.

JEE Main 2025 Cut-Off & Participation: Over 14.7 Lakh Students Appeared This Year
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 has once again seen massive participation, reinforcing its place as one of India’s most competitive engineering entrance exams.
According to official data, a total of 15,39,848 unique candidates registered for either the January or April session of JEE Main 2025 Paper 1 (BE/BTech). Of these, 14,75,103 unique candidates actually appeared for the exam across both sessions.

8,33,536 candidates registered for both sessions, and 7,75,383 ended up appearing twice.

The January 2025 session saw 13,11,544 registrations, with 12,58,136 students appearing.

For the April 2025 session, 10,61,840 registered, and 9,92,350 appeared for the exam.
These numbers reflect not just the scale of JEE Main, but also the determination and enthusiasm of lakhs of aspirants aiming for top engineering institutions across India.
Performance Highlights: 24 Students Score 100 Percentile
This year, 24 students secured a perfect 100 percentile, a remarkable feat that underscores the intense competition.

Rajasthan led the list of top scorers with 7 candidates.

Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Telangana each had 3 toppers.
Among the top scorers, two were girls:

Sai Manogna Guthikonda from Andhra Pradesh, who also topped the January session, achieved another perfect score in April.

Devdutta Majhi, the West Bengal state topper in Session 1 with a 99.99921 percentile, also joined the 100-percentile club in Session 2.
