JoSAA 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result (OUT): Direct Link, How to Check & Next Steps

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority has released the round 1 seat allotment result for all registered candidates. The result shows your allotted college and course based on your JEE Main or JEE Advanced rank and the choices you filled during the choice filling process.

If you've got a seat in this round, you must pay the Seat Allotment Fee (SAF) by June 26. Paying this fee is mandatory if you want to move ahead in the counselling. Document upload and verification only start once you've paid the SAF. So it's best to finish the fee payment as early as you can. The deadline for document upload and verification is also June 26.

How to Check JoSAA Round 1 Seat Allotment 2026?

You can follow these simple steps to check your seat allotment in the first round of JoSAA counselling.

• Visit the official JoSAA website and click the link for seat allotment.
• The JoSAA login page will open. Enter your JEE Main application number and password.
• Once you log in, you can view your seat allotment result.
• Check your allotted college and course, then save the page for future reference.

After the seat allotment, if you're not happy with your allotted seat, you can opt for an upgrade by choosing 'Float' or 'Slide'.

Float: Choose this option if you want a better college and course from your preference list.

Slide: Choose this option if you want a better course from your choice list within the same institute you've already been allotted.
