The Maharashtra Government has announced the evaluation criteria for the class 12th or HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate). The Maha Board has followed the path just like CBSE to prepare the board examination result. On Friday 02- 07- 21 Maharashtra Education minister Varsha Gaikwad gave the information that class 12th students' results will be calculated on the basis of performance in the result of three consecutive years. The result will be prepared by considering the class 10th final result, class 11th final result and class 12th internal assessment. 

Maha State education minister tweeted that After several rounds of consultations with various stakeholders, we have finalised the assessment mode & the policy for tabulation of marks for Std.12th HSC board students. Given the pandemic situation, state board is permitted to pass all students #HSCExam”

As per the given information on twitter this year all students will be passed. But if there is any student who will not get the enough to pass the examination on the basis of evaluation criteria. Then they will get the grace markings and will be promoted to the next class. 

Evaluation Criteria for Maharashtra HSC Class 12th Result 2021

According to the evaluation criteria HSC Class 12th students final scores will have 40% weightage from the class 12th exam and 11 & the average of the best 3 performing theory papers of Std 10 will have 30% weightage each. 

This evaluation criteria is very similar to the CBSE Class 12th evaluation criteria. Maharashtra board has also directed the schools to form a committee to finalise the results and keep the records safe.

Gaikwad said, “Maharashtra has been pushing for a uniform assessment formula across India for Std 12th. Opting for an evaluation method similar to the one devised by central education boards will certainly help." She adds, “The task is challenging but I am confident that our colleges, teachers will live up to the task"

This Formula is Applicable Only For

This HSC Class 12th result evaluation formula is applicable for the only students who are registered as regular candidates. For the candidates who are registered as private, repeater and for appearing in any isolated subject’s exam will have another evaluation criteria, which has been finalized.

Moreover, the candidates who are not satisfied with their scores can appear for the examination which will be conducted by the Maharashtra State board in the upcoming time. Also, the maha board class 12th examination cancellation for the academic session 2020-21 will not be considered as a missed opportunity. Students will be eligible to give their examination for the eligible number of attempts.

HSC Class 12th Result 2021

This year over 14 lakhs students have passed in HSC Class 12th. They are now eligible to get the admission in the colleges. However the board will release the final detailed results by 31 July (Expected). Because the Supreme Court of India has asked the states including CBSE to release the class 12th result by July 31st.
