The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), Pune, has officially released the HSC exam pattern for 2025-26. You can easily check Maharashtra Board HSC Exam Pattern and Blueprint 2026 here.

Maharashtra Class 12th Major Changes in the Exam Pattern
The board has introduced a few important changes to the Maharashtra HSC exam pattern this year:

More Objective Questions: Now, 25% of the paper will consist of objective-type questions. The rest will be a mix of very short, short, long, and essay-type answers.

Total Marks Reduced: The total score for the HSC exam has been brought down from 650 to 600.

Internal Assessment Breakdown: Each subject now includes a 20-mark internal assessment. This is split into 5 marks for practical skills, 5 marks for oral skills, and 10 marks for subject-related activities or experiments.
