UPMSP (The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad) has changed the exam pattern of UP Board Class 9th annual exam. There will be objective types of questions for 20 marks out of 70 marks. An internal assessment will be conducted for 30 marks. As per the official data of UPMSP approx as many as 31,78,305 students have registered for UP Board 2022 Class 9th exams as on November 8.
As per the changed exam pattern the objective types of exam will be held in OMR Sheet for 20 marks. Therefore, students will be required to write their answers in the OMR Sheet that will be given when the exam will start.
The remaining 50 marks will be descriptive in nature and will include questions from higher-order thinking skills (HOTS).
Half-yearly exams of Class 9 Uttar Pradesh board will be conducted for 70 marks. While the 50 marks of the paper will be descriptive in nature, the remaining 20 marks of the question paper will be objective (MCQs type).
The annual exams of class 9th will be conducted similarly to the pattern of half-yearly exams.
