Due to the rising cases of COVID, omicron in India, the CBSE board students have started demanding to cancel the term 2 board exams. They are putting their opinion that offline exams will affect their health due to the rising cases. However, the boards (CBSE & CISCE) have not released any timetable yet for term 2 board exams of classes 10, 12.
However, CBSE has already mentioned in their earlier statements that term 2 board exams will be taken only if the situations in the country will be appropriate. Meanwhile, the state boards such as Assam, Bihar, Rajasthan, Maharashtra have decided to conduct the final board exams. Whereas, UP Board has announced that the board exams of classes 10 and 12th will be held after the election.
Students are not only opposing the CBSE Class 10, 12 Term 2 Board Exams 2022 from conducting rather students across the country demanding cancellation of board exams for CBSE and state boards too.
As CBSE Board has already announced that after conducting the term 1 exam, term 2 board exams will be held. At this moment the term 1 exams for classes 10, 12 have been held successfully and term 2 exams are scheduled to be held in March-April 2022.
Situations of COVID
From the IANS report, we get the opportunity to know that, the term 2 board exam has higher chances to be conducted since health experts had earlier mentioned that the 3rd wave is under control.
In case, if term 2 exams will not be conducted then scores in the term 1 exam will be referred to prepare the final results of classes 10, 12. However, the government is trying its best to avail the vaccination of students between 15-18 years of age so that students can appear in their board exams safely.
